Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth Rising Tide is an extensive addon designed to complement its original strategy game. Players find themselves on an unknown continent where they must colonize an oceanic region containing new possibilities and variations for diplomatic settlement. You are even allowed to construct floating cities directly on water surfaces while being attacked by sea creatures from below! Be wary though; monsters lurk below!

Goal of Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth Rising Tide is to colonize all planets. Leaders with different skills are available and new capabilities gradually reveal themselves; leader skills may even be combined. There are two additional parameters, fear and respect; their effectiveness of leaders directly impacts these indicators. Diplomacy may be conducted using political capital - this way you can both increase diplomacy rating while aiding allies.

Al Falah units stand apart from all others with their distinct culture from Middle Eastern peoples - they represent descendants who hail from this area and their heritage makes them exceptional traders. There are various artifacts available for collection that provide upgrades or abilities for Al Falah troops as well as hybrid troops you can create using improvements; available biomes include volcano terrain, cluttered terrain, frozen terrain and tundra terrain.
