King of Retail allows players to experience virtual business management. You take on the role of owner for an iconic store located within its story setting; your goal should be to become the most renowned outlet in town through marketing efforts, creating positive customer service experiences and keeping all customers content.
Retail King project is an interactive sandbox and store management simulator in which users decide what their trade will consist of; selling shoes, clothes, electronics and groceries among many other goods available for sale is within your control as is creating hypermarkets offering almost everything available and even chains with separate hypermarkets within their network. Individual interviews allow staff members to expand your staff further while staff scheduling changes are permitted along with salary adjustment as needed while fatigued staff should be sent straight back out into break rooms to recharge; you can even create their hero manager using editor! In addition to workers being created within their stores by their users creating hero managers from scratch which you control through editor - this project offers complete store management with plenty of possibilities available both ways!
Products need to be selected and ordered, stored in a warehouse, processed and placed onto shelves. If the supplier treats you well enough, you could even receive exclusive offers from him! Also important are visitor engagement metrics like prices and location: expensive fashion will likely go unused in poor neighborhoods while products that do not sell will need to be removed from shelves in favor of something that sells better; failing that you should replace with something new on store shelves immediately.
There are two modes available - entrepreneurial and corporate. When working alone, users work for themselves while in corporate mode they assist someone else develop their business. Gameplay differences between entrepreneurial mode and corporate mode arise only due to presence or absence of campaigns; when working for another firm you need to complete tasks (for instance achieving certain turnover) before receiving payments under contract as rewards; new missions begin only once enough money has accumulated to launch another mission.
