McPixel

McPixel is an entertaining side-scrolling pixel art puzzle game featuring constantly defusing bombs. The main character often finds himself in dangerous situations where timed decisions must be made quickly or the item will explode, sending him backwards until everything explodes and back into his previous level again. There are 100 stages total within the indie project!

This game parodies the hit TV show MacGyver while also including many nods to popular culture and video gaming industry references. We control McPixel, an orange-haired protagonist primarily using kick attacks but occasionally picking things up; your task is to quickly solve riddles using kick or grab tactics until time runs out! You must click your hand in time with his actions or select objects correctly!

To successfully explore any themed area, one must traverse all its rooms in sequence. This project involves multiple stages where players find themselves on various islands or alien ships or hospitals or forests or forests or trains or farms or farms or stadiums or Mortal Kombat arenas or Death Star etc. Puzzles in these themed environments often are designed in absurdist fashion so problems are often resolved non-standard and humorous ways - for instance in one episode on an airplane you must use a shovel to push nuclear bombs through snakes' bodies using nonstandard methods - such as taking an unusual shovel /scatchment route etc... To finish up that chapter you may even take an ironic approach by pushing an iron bar into snake's belly...
