Russian Orphan

Russian Orphan is an intricate tale about an orphan girl living alone. Set amid vast post-Soviet space, Russian Orphan follows one lonely young lady as she returns home after living elsewhere for some time; upon entering her old apartment she cannot locate either her younger brother or mother; thus initiating an intense journey that leads into nightmare territory as she discovers more information on what's happened and tries to uncover answers as fast as she can.

Russian Orphan's gameplay adheres to all the standards of classic survival horror. Players control a protagonist from third person perspective as she explores Russian city neighborhoods with various difficulties and obstacles thrown her way, which may include enemies or puzzles for you to solve in order to advance plot progression further in this narrative-rich experience. You must look out for keys, objects and even notes within her diary for success - although camera view sometimes changes into cinematic static mode during gameplay.

Most of the action occurs within tight, cramped environments where enemies are strong yet few in number; you must either avoid or fight off these threats to emerge victorious from this brawl. The adventure atmosphere is inspired by classic Silent Hill parts; with subtle VHS tape noises seen on screen to further heighten immersion and perception of gameplay.
