Supreme Ruler 2010: Throne of the Planet got underway back in 2006 after global economics imploded and most populations felt depressed as strong nations disintegrated one after the next, leading to numerous regions fighting among themselves, leading to human populations declining significantly over time. An initial government organization called BUN was then created, only for it soon disbanding after failing experiments were run against it.

Over time, an international organization known as World Market arose and boldly claimed their intention of dominating all corners of humanity simultaneously while aiding most. Users then take control of this new corporation to manage all aspects of it in an attempt to return planet earth back into an economically healthy condition while stopping all wars that had begun throughout it all. There are various options for users looking to accomplish their goal including building relations between bordering countries or subduing civilized societies in order to stabilize its economy and return it back into balance.
