HorrorVale

HorrorVale is an old school JRPG. When exploring locations, users watch what's going on from above; during battles however, the camera switches into first person perspective and heroes appear when striking opponents; dialogue scenes feature large character sprites similar to visual novels for added immersion.

HorrorVale is the setting for this action-adventure title, in which events unfold within its walls. Aside from zombies, ghosts, and other scary creatures living here, zombies, ghosts, and other horror creatures also reside there. But then one day out-of-the-blue monsters appear and terrorize local residents - including Alice (an unlikely combination between skeleton and witch) and Scruffy the zombie dog, who must work together against these threats until help arrives from other fighters joining their ranks; as you progress further into this narrative 4 acts where an abundance of humor awaits.

There are 30 creatures available for hire in this game, although only some of them can participate simultaneously in battles. Each battle takes place step-by-step as squad members attack, use magic or skills, use items and take defensive stances; when battle ends they gain experience for winning! As characters level up they gain additional characteristics that improve as well as sometimes learn new abilities; since points cannot be distributed based on parameters you simply gain experience through winning battles! Heroes attack/defense, luck/speed increases as does health/mana/etc increases!
