Josh Journey: Darkness Totems

Josh Journey: Darkness Totems is a side-scrolling beat-em-up featuring hand-drawn 2D graphics made in cartoon style, making for an engaging story about heroes who each represent one of four elemental forces - water, fire, earth and wind. These adventurers embark on an incredible quest to protect the World of the Province from Dark Side of Dreams entity and its minions, the video game being divided into chapters where narrative progresses after every act is complete. Single player allows the user to switch fighters at will and revive fallen allies using various resources - giving a few extra lives! Local multiplayer provides co-op gaming for up to four players sitting together at one PC; easy pumping can also be found here, plus there are boss battles wherein ordinary monsters and their leaders make for difficult fights that exceed average difficulty levels.

Josh's Journey: Totems of Darkness gives players four characters to select:

• ZOZ is an multitasking robot capable of throwing bombs and firing long-range projectiles;
• Melina is an expert sorceress capable of controlling crowds, supporting allies, weakening enemies and attacking from far distance;
• Farqual, an outcast from an ancient tribe renowned for their magical rituals, counterbalances his slowness with powerful attacks;
• Josh on the other hand is an adept swordsman renowned for striking quickly and decisively.
