Life after Death allows viewers to revisit childhood fears of Jesse, the main character. Although now an adult who seems to have overcome any psychological problems from his past, his thoughts keep returning; eventually leading him into a very disquieting and morbid world, where all fears come flooding back to haunt him again.

Life after Death contains scenes of violence and cruelty that make this psychological thriller inappropriate for viewers under 18 years of age. Jesse finds himself trapped inside an enormous house full of rooms where real atrocities take place while people with demonic features roam about freely - without weapons available for protection, his only solution may be running away from those attacking him; though escape may also provide him with protection.
