We Happy Few

Willington Wells is high on Joy. While police officers investigate cases alleging something, main characters lay out traps for each other while one particularly desperate protagonist wants out and drags his friends with him. We Happy Few features an engaging gameplay with chic graphics; its optimized and detailed play will not allow it to slow down or stutter at high settings, providing 60 FPS.

An alternative 1960s English town adheres solely to one rule - laws without rules. All characters' actions are unconditional throughout their story campaign; society consumes drugs while three quiet rebels attempt to disrupt society through drug dealing and defiance of authorities. We take on one of three characters - sometimes shifting leadership -- each having unique histories, character traits, weaknesses and motives for doing what they're doing - the aim being escape the city, either framing police officers and disfiguring it further or by framing others and disfiguring it further!

Germany, having invaded England, introduces Joy (Radostin) to people who break from social norms in a sober manner. One character resists accepting Radostin but police catch and force him and others into taking drugs in order to return them to society safely and healthyly.

Arthur Hastings is an ordinary clerk-journalist tasked with editing submitted material submitted for publication. However, while reading one issue of a newspaper containing an article about himself and his older brother he comes across a story which involves both of them and becomes embittered - leading his colleagues to drive him into an underground prison from which there may be escape to freedom beyond city walls.

The character's main purpose in life is to locate all of the necessary items needed to help him escape from city living, while simultaneously dodging police officers and townspeople who might recognize him or her as "refuser". Should suspicion arise against you, simply taking Radostin tablets won't draw unwanted attention and could help ensure anonymity for you in cave living where he/she can rest, craft items needed and continue searching for ways out.
