Startup Panic

Startup Panic follows its main character's journey as they embark upon founding their own startup business and compete against other organizations while trying to grow his office and improve programming abilities in an attempt to become one of global corporate saboteurs, hoping they don't get caught or hack themselves!

As the player starts their adventure in their bedroom as the programmer, time management becomes essential in selecting projects, working under contract agreements and fulfilling tasks on weekends. As you advance you gain access to new opportunities through your startup. Hire employees and upgrade office facilities while drawing the attention of competing organizations while choosing which project and/or element(s) to focus on in gameplay based on user decision-making and gameplay dynamics.

To advance in this game, it's necessary to spend time training staff before reaping financial gains from them. A skill tree allows your company to level up quickly by booking longer vacations at reduced fares on plane tickets; and an employee exchange enables you to find suitable workers for your office based on each character's skills or characteristics, like being social or solitary - or taking out loans and attracting investors that offer additional cashflow sources if need be.
