Loveland

Loveland boasts an unusual visual style. The graphics in this project harken back to early 3D games while it can also be described as an immersive walking simulator and adventure game with horror elements - not without some bloodshed and scenes of violence!

Loveland takes place in a trailer park during the late 20th century, where an unusual new form of worship--frog worship--has arisen among local residents, leading them to commit kidnappings, murders and other atrocities in order to honor this creature that can be found living nearby lakes. An investigative agency interviewed witnesses before dispatching one detective directly to investigate this cult's activities in Loveland.

At night, an investigator arrives in his car in a densely-populated area to begin to unravel mysterious events. Using first-person view, our main character investigates mobile homes with flashlight illumination - exploring empty mobile homes as he travels between empty mobile homes. He comments on his actions with text phrases while also being able to interact with their environment such as opening/closing doors/drawers/turning on/off appliances etc as well as picking up objects scattered about. Notes and diaries scattered about provide insights into plot details while details such as details given through notes/diaries scattered about homes can provide further insights; note/diaries are scattered about providing plot details as are puzzles built using discovered things placed correctly with objects in sequence in an exact fashion!
