MADiSON is one of those horror games that goes beyond simple jump scares to induce genuine fear in its players. MADiSON's developers focus specifically on its psychological component, forcing gamers to feel fear at every extra movement or sound that occurs within its world. Luke awakes in an otherwise silent room covered with blood from being part of Madison's sinful ritual decades prior; we now need to complete it, although this won't be straightforward!

MADiSON features an innovative camera mechanic; not only can you take pictures with it but you can use its power for plot-related manipulations as well. As an example, by peeling back an otherwise white wall you could reveal an inscription or number necessary for solving a puzzle in the future. Or point a lens at a well, its massive lid would fall apart into many tiny fragments, rendering this exercise virtually futile. Otherwise, this game features traditional horror mechanics to overcome obstacles and find keys hidden among dark corners and tunnels - where players might receive numerous scares! To open an enormous door you first must collect keys - which might require venturing deeper underground, leading to several terrifying experiences as a result! Strangely enough, such events seem to emerge randomly and it can be impossible to predict their recurrence. While walking down an alley with your lighter in hand you might see evil spirits coming out from around a corner; yet upon your next launch this won't occur and danger awaits somewhere else in this particular location.
