Druidstone: The Secret of the Menhir Forest

Druidstone: The Secret of Menhir Forest tells of a time when evil took up residence in Menhir forest in Druidstone. An archdruid who served as chief protector was abducted, leading his fellow druids in search of salvation from spreading purple tumors which caused disease and destruction wherever they appeared.

Available Heroes:

• Aava is an archer and daughter of an archdruid; her power and subsequent responsibilities were passed onto her through inheritance.
• Leonard is a warrior-guardian whose past remains hidden while fate throws up mortal dangers that must be faced head on in life.
• Oiko is an amateur magician and former Red Priest. Though quite intelligent, he lacks wisdom.

The passage is carried out as Aava and two companion characters embark upon their quest to locate Aava's father on a world map full of various missions for you to accomplish in search of him. You must go through various non-standard tasks in a certain number of moves such as defusing bombs or leading specific characters through locations with basilisks to an exit without getting hit, lighting signal lights to destroy purple tumors etc. Also from time to time you must save companions when summoned during battle - creatures with flashlights known as Shido may appear. Sometimes their light must be lit so you must protect them during fight.

In this game there are side quests which offer money, stones for upgrading weapons and skills, experience points and additional ammo purchases between missions. Instructions here are simple - open chests, kill the strongest enemy to access an item - battles take place step-by-step using tactics which require one to think through actions correctly while choosing who you attack; warriors use circular attacks with swords while archers shoot arrows while magicians use lightning charges; ammo can also be purchased between missions.
