SuperTotalCarnage! is an action roguelike with auto battler and horror elements, featuring 2D pixel graphics in a retro style with camera views from both side and top views of gameplay - blood and meat are prominent elements here as are multiple characters, although some might not initially be available to choose. As you advance in your game, more weapons become unlocked for use and they vary in appearance, stats and initial weapons available to them. Since your fighter attacks directly against opponents on his own, your only task as player will be moving your Ward around while dodging attacks from nearby enemies while collecting any crystals which fall out that provide experience points for increased levels. After gathering enough experience, the gamer advances their level. For each level reached, he may select one out of three items available to them for purchase, be they new guns/artifacts with passive properties or upgrades for existing items - up to six guns can be carried at one time and equal number of relics (you have 6 slots available to carry guns/relics).

Players in Super all-out Carnage's spiritual successor differ from its progenitor in several aspects - an entirely destructible environment where stones, trees, columns and other objects can be destroyed easily; other differences include darker atmosphere and dismemberment as well as different arsenal options (chainsaw, grenades shotgun Molotov cocktail shurikens machine gun axe and rifle etc); there are 10 types of weapons total, not including secret samples; monsters sometimes leave coins behind that can then be spent upgrading characteristics between races by paying each race separately when upgrading characteristics between races is more advantageous!
