Created by a group of Japanese developers dedicated to sexual minorities and supporting transvestites as major plot points. Storyline of Boys in Tights follows boys with standard anime appearance who wish they were girls due to inner world and social perception issues. Masato, our main protagonist in this tale, has long belonged to his family's Kotomusubi Temple since it has belonged to them over centuries. Now it's his turn preparing to join its priestly ranks. As his virtual protege becomes aware of not being drawn to women of either sex, they find themselves feeling uncomfortable about his lack of attraction to those from opposite sexe. Seeking clarity, they seek help from divine forces who respond by sending forth divine messengers for clarity; one such messenger turned out to be an expert disguiser - in this instance it being Yui, Hinova and Endo Mishiro among several less significant personalities who also appear throughout this tale.
