Phoenix Point

Phoenix Point is a tactical turn-based strategy game set in 2022 when scientists discovered Pandoravirus. Contact with this permafrost virus turned people or animals into unrecognizable forms upon contact; due to melting glaciers, its threat has spread far across most of the ocean, while aquatic inhabitants turned into mutants capable of living on land; only high elevations offered a way out from under its spell; many lives were lost as a result of being affected.

Travel back in time to 2047 where only a remnant of humanity knows how best to cope with an alien virus outbreak. You will take control of various factions during your adventure: Project Phoenix is working hard to save people from destruction while New Jericho attempts to completely wipe out alien viruses with technological breakthroughs and military action; religious groups "The Followers of Anu" believe everything happening on Earth is part of its punishment while Sanhedrin stands as the most influential body with environmental knowledge working on creating a better world for future generations.

Each campaign features random generation, with players mining resources to survive missions and battles using chemical weapons, flamethrowers, explosives, drones and many other killing devices. Due to a procedurally generated world, alien viruses will unpredictably evolve creating fresh challenges during tactical battles for users.
