Founders' Fortune

Founders' Fortune is an immersive fantasy sim that requires not only building and defending bases but also monitoring psychological health of its characters. Colonists arrive on an island without resources in hand and begin gathering resources before building houses with walls and floors before placing furniture and setting the facade to order.

Colonists are an essential element of Founders' Fortune, so in order to maximize their productivity it's necessary to provide comfortable living conditions for them and provide food and a roof over their heads. Otherwise, people could fall ill from plague, infection or mental breakdown; also their mood could deteriorate for any number of reasons, be they injury, illness hunger or simply boredom with conversation; leaving this issue unresolved can result in colonists becoming angry enough that they attack other residents instead.

Building a farm provides solutions to provisions issues. If the hero does not eat enough food, his vital energy will decrease and eventually cause him to die. By growing vegetables and creating dishes from them, players can maintain effectiveness of their bobblehead. You should stockpile provisions before winter hits otherwise not all residents may survive the chill; additionally merchants visiting to sell first-class goods may come calling as soon as people begin actively harvesting crops and collecting crops on an island settlement start working hard, leading them to come for only first class goods; while as standard of living increases so do new technologies created to protect from annoying Tikigoblins!
