DARK SOULS: REMASTERED

DARK SOULS: REMASTERED is an iconic Japanese action/RPG released in 2011. From Software developed it and its remastered version was made available through QLOC for release in May 2018 (at their instigation). What exactly is DARK SOULS REMASTERED about? Primarily it's an epic third-person RPG where your initial character creation process involves setting aesthetic and class characteristics; these play out differently here than they might in traditional titles like World of Warcraft for instance.

The main character in this game is an outcast warrior who finds themselves lost in an obscure universe of darkness and must navigate his way to achieve his goal. While other games in this genre might divide their classes up between combatants, ranged units and magical ones - here there are only warriors. Each class comes equipped with their own advantages and disadvantages; knights tend to be well protected but often very slow-moving; on the other hand robbers tend to be quick and strong but lack proper protection as such.

Because DARK SOULS is notoriously challenging action/RPG genre history, you might spend quite some time fighting one boss at once; its impressive combat system rightly considered one of the most advanced overall; only analogue from Geralt of Rivia can rival its dynamics; although "Dark Souls' combat system may seem less energetic or rhythmic; instead it turns battles with opponents into real chess tournaments!
