Nightmare

Nightmare was created for single playthrough only and features first-person perspective with three dimensional graphics - not two dimensional, pixelated MMORPG gameplay of its name! Within this experience, our hero discovers himself trapped within an endlessly haunting nightmare! Ghosts haunting the main character's surroundings can often keep him trapped in an endless nightmare, hoping he stays there until awakening occurs. In order to do this, increasing their Sanity Scale (think health bar). To do this, lighting must increase on each map. At nightfall you must explore locations with a flashlight to gather and craft special things, collect rare materials for crafting special weapons and armor pieces, learn more about your surroundings by studying maps or visiting sites, fight ghostly spirits who appear from time to time and devise tactics against bosses while participating in various events. Experienced players may switch on an expert mode which changes core mechanics significantly while making gameplay much harder than before.

Each skating rink at Project Nightmare typically lasts around half an hour; matches may end quicker. Project Nightmare features high replayability: each subsequent playthrough differs from its predecessor in terms of object locations; some random activities might appear, others could disappear; the order in which enemies appear may also change randomly and players might meet unexpected opponents instead of familiar foes; indie game also boasts leveling; levelling allows gamers to gain experience and earn Light Tokens that they can spend to acquire various skills.
