update details
Days Gone chronicles Deacon St. Johns' story as an ex-member of Reservoir Dogs motorcycle club who, following his wife's passing away, wanders an open world almost destroyed by an epidemic and is home to civilians, marauders, mad cultists, wild animals and "Freakers", like living zombies but with much faster movement speed than any undead zombie could offer.
Life After is defined by two primary features. One of them is its focus on motorcycle travel: our protagonist covers vast distances on his ride while its mechanics of control are intricately detailed; going into controlled drifts or leaping over bumps requires precise manipulation from its rider; additionally it must be regularly maintained, repaired, improved or customized so as to maintain progress here. Without it we would all fall back.
Days Gon's second distinguishing feature is its army of freaks; these creatures sleep during the daytime before emerging at night to hunt in packs, attacking bikers in hundreds. Their movements across locations vary with time of day and weather conditions, monsters being capable of attacking bandits or wolves alike and nests located throughout its map requiring burning out in order to be effective against their attack.
Engaging enemies openly or using stealth is optional in this game; your hero knows how to distract opponents with throwing stones while making silent kills by attacking from behind. Weapons include knives, cleavers, sticks, clubs bats axes pistols crossbows shotguns machineguns SMG machine guns grenades Molotov cocktails traps mines as well as guns which wear out over time so must be repaired/improved and upgraded accordingly - in addition there's also trading system, settlements crafting level up side quests fighting leaders/mini-bosses who's there as well.
