EDENGATE: The Edge of Life

EDENGATE: The Edge of Life employs the classic amnesia plot. This dark story follows Mia Laurenson, an enthusiastic biology student studying towards her academic field of science. Unfortunately one day Mia finds herself awake in an abandoned hospital unsure how or when she got there but soon begins noticing strange happenings within it and the surrounding world; wanting to discover what actually transpired during her unconscious period; approximately 1 12 to two hour short tale; video game created during pandemic which affects its ambience while trying to evoke feelings of sadness isolation uncertainty or even despair

Edengate: Edge of Life is an engaging third-person adventure game with elements of walking simulator. At certain points the camera switches the view directly towards your eyes for added realism. Edengate invites players to wander an empty hospital (and beyond in an empty city), solve puzzles and overcome obstacles by interacting with interactive objects on the map; when doing this will allow him to recall details about himself as well as information related to research work he was performing at that moment in time. There are interactive objects on the map which when interacted with may help him remember details about him or about research work related research conducted relating to research work. Additionally crawl through narrow passageways where she frequently hallucinates while talking aloud while her path often blocked by closed doors which require unlock keys/access codes from somewhere to open them from before heading.
