Path of Ra

Path of Ra may appeal to fans of Ancient Egyptian titles. This local tale recounts Pharaoh's adventures; after his death his soul is transformed into an hieroglyph that ultimately ends up decorating his tomb wall. As its main protagonist, you embark on an adventurous 60 level journey wherein the story of their ruler's demise unfolds through animated screensavers and chapters that can be selected via main menu; also featured are hand-drawn graphics with side camera views for better understanding and to help learn backstory lore. As each level passes by, more pieces of hearts must be collected in order to comprehend lore more fully and gain knowledge on backstory elements that lead to its narrative arc. In total there will be 21 animated screensavers presented throughout with chapters each containing chapters which present animated screensaver animation while animated screensavers help convey backstory information on characters as background story unfolds lore is revealed through animated screensaver narration presented through animated screensaver animation, divided into chapters divided by chapters within chapters divided further divided by chapters that can be selected through main menu selection from within its chapters (that can already opened acts can be selected via main menu selection from main menu selection.) Additionally the indie project features two-dimensional hand drawn graphics while camera is located on either side.

The Path of Ra is an engaging single-player puzzle game in which puzzle complexity increases steadily over time and new mechanics are slowly introduced into gameplay. At its core, however, gameplay resembles tag: you control only your environment (divided into blocks). Moving them will restore the map back to its original appearance and remove all obstacles in King's path, so he may reach and activate the Scarab and unlock an exit route out of level. Only those squares adjacently located are eligible to change places here. After finishing all manipulations, time freeze is lifted, revealing an independent virtual person running, jumping and pressing switches independently. Colliding with walls causes it to change course; when colliding with none at the edge of platform it turns around before moving oppositely back across screen again; colliding with nothing it turns around before heading in opposite direction again before falling off and dying and having to repeat episode all over.
