Build and Battle bridges the gap between tower defense and strategy game genres by merging both TBS and Tower Defense elements into its gameplay, setting itself apart from many similar offerings on the market. Action points are spent making moves; as each level progresses players have more chance to use up all available action points before switching out your plan of attack! This indie title requires not only protecting the camp from monsters but also developing your base by extracting resources, building buildings, upgrading infrastructure and strengthening defensive buildings. After upgrading objects visually change and some gain new abilities. Cannons, catapults and towers with arrows may also be added. Soldiers also roam freely on this map while various enemies (both human and monsters alike) move around at will; depending on their type, enemies may attack up close or from far distance - breaking fences or even demolishing houses altogether!
Build & Battle features retro-styled 2D graphics. It employs pixel art and an isometric camera. Set in medieval fantasy settings, its indie project has its own plot and lore: one day the last crystal protecting a kingdom for centuries suddenly broke, leading to portals opening into other realities that people use to explore other realities while trying to figure out how they can fix everything back home; these stories are presented via in-engine cutscenes over six large maps for playtesting the narrative campaign of Build & Battle's narrative campaign story campaign is full.
