Super Nano Blaster is a top-down scrolling shooter with puzzle game elements. It has a single player and local multiplayer, thanks to which you can play together on one computer via split screen. The game has classic and endless mode. Classic is divided into 7 levels. In case of defeat, you do not need to go through the stage again, since control points are placed along the maps. Before starting the race, you can choose one of 5 difficulty types: easy, normal, hard, expert and black hole. Destroyed enemies drop orbs. You need to collect them to earn points and replenish a special scale. When it is completely filled, the gamer is temporarily given the Overclock ability, which significantly increases firepower.

The main feature of the Super Nano Blaster game is the ability to switch between layers at almost any time. This must be done to avoid obstacles and enemy bullets. This mechanic is also used in boss battles. Local puzzles are built around it. In this case, the user sees both layers simultaneously (one of them is always depicted in the form of a set of silhouettes located one floor below). The controls are tailored for gamepads. However, you can use a mouse or keyboard instead of a joystick. There are 8 ships in this video game. Not all of them are available from the very beginning. Some starships are unlocked as you progress.
