Metavoidal

Metavoidal is an engaging dark adventure game featuring RPG and roguelike elements, featuring an aspiring drummer caught up in sinister heavy metal cult membership. He must fight its members while gradually increasing his level of musical instrument playing to find escape, becoming stronger as more abilities and skills unlock and help him fight more formidable adversaries.

Metavoidal's story begins as an otherwise tranquil town is rocked by the sounds of heavy metal music, leading to many residents' death or transformation into terrifying monsters. A small church at its outskirts becomes safe haven until our hero uncovers that one metal band was training drummers specifically so they may later be sacrificed as part of some mysterious cult ritual. Our protagonist must explore this dangerous city while fighting with local temple guardians against these new threats to his security - until recently an area known only for peace.

The gameplay in Heavy Metal Gods resembles an intense and fast-paced action slasher game with lots of music and comedy elements. Your goal is to break through an immense mob of insane monsters while using drumsticks as your musical weapon - as your protagonist levels up his strength increases accordingly! As well as combatting with ordinary minions of the cult and powerful heavy metal gods alike.
