MUSHROOMAN

MUSHROOMAN is an atmospheric first-person horror game developed by an independent developer. As its protagonist drove along a winding forest road in his car, enjoying clean night air and stunning starlight views, his pleasant journey abruptly ended when his fuel unexpectedly ran out early than planned and found himself alone and lost in dense woodland terrain unable to locate gas stations - until something began hunting him!

MUSHROOMAN's gameplay revolves around exploring an expansive area, searching for items, solving inventory-based puzzles and fighting monsters, here represented as giant killer mushrooms. A terrain map provides you with both planning capabilities as well as information regarding current tasks. Gamers must restore power supply at a gas station, locate and fill an empty canister before transporting it safely back to their car - while remaining alive! Records located may provide clues on next steps necessary. Food, drinks and first aid kits found may help restore health while weapons include an ax for close combat as well as pistol. A flashlight comes in handy after dark but remember to replace its batteries regularly or the game could end before half an hour has been played through!
