Tyranny features classic role-playing elements. We play an active part in choosing our locations while the plot unfolds; Kairos has taken control of this world. Your hero acts as executioner, fighter and judge at once! Or alternatively you could side with him by following other characters under him while adapting his system accordingly - whatever works for you is what counts in Tyranny. It is all up to you.

Tyranny's narrative system adapts to player actions; initially we must devise ways out of an environment which warns us about tyranny's spread around us; soon afterwards we encounter several of Kairos' subordinate servants who assure us everything will go according to plan; furthermore the entire Tire (game world) obeys your decisions but do not expect his troops to support your decisions!

Combat mechanics of this game are consistent, yet unpredictable and unpredicable - enemies may attack unexpectedly from any direction and surprise you by surrounding or attacking from unexpected directions - requiring tactical pauses as essential tools against professional fighters amidst this medieval world fantasy setting!

The game world is vast yet coherent. The protagonist in this tale isn't simply an ordinary vagabond who steadily builds power; rather he was once part of an opposition army, trying to maintain both good deeds and an appropriate amount of evil in himself and those around him.
