Exorcist 2: Crow Magic tells the tale of David Livingston and Derrek. Toward the start of part two, David decided against retiring but continued practicing exorcism instead, playing piano in his office before hearing an urgent plea from Derrek for help - in this instance his own teacher! - who taught him everything before even replacing his father! His quest becomes to save this mentor while using first person view; only glimpsed from cut scenes are allowed.

The Exorcist 2: Crow's Magic is an independent psychological horror game with elements of walking simulator and adventure games. Featuring sharp loud sounds and screamers, its gameplay centers around exploring locations - with several maps available such as an abandoned mansion and dense forest to discover! Lore details are revealed through text on loading screens, with controls designed for both keyboard and mouse use. A paranormal investigator may move in various directions while looking around, interacting with his environment (for instance closing and opening doors) and using flashlight. He has access to some supernatural powers including creating portals, viewing visions or entering into a state of trance as well as special vision modes that assist when searching in dark conditions for clues and objects.
