City Limits

City Limits can be described as both a puzzle game and city building simulator in one. As an independent project created with minimalist style graphics in isometric view with low resolution 2D pixels graphics, City Limits features relaxing gameplay accompanied by soothing music from its 10-song soundtrack. Though created for single play only, users may compete online leaderboard competition to earn positions; players' task: rebuild metropolis within limited space by completing small tasks; the point being to gain as many points possible! Gameplay is turn based; however cancel actions as many times during one match!

City Limits' gameplay resembles that of Tetris; gamers are presented with a small island where buildings arrive randomly in random orders for placement on tiles using the mouse. Some buildings can combine together while houses must be strategically arranged so as to trigger combo chains; Hints will sometimes appear showing what combinations produce effects; two modes exist - basic and advanced, respectively - providing four buildings and few mechanics, with 12 initial buildings plus various variations; once certain conditions have been fulfilled you may gain special buildings!
