The Complex

The Complex is an innovative hybrid product, both game and movie in one, known as an interactive film. Players have the chance to actively influence its plot through making choices during various situations; usually these choices cannot be undone and many games of this nature offer multiple endings; 8 in this instance!

The Complex is an adventure thriller depicting people locked inside a laboratory complex after unknown parties perpetrated an elaborate biological attack against London. Unfortunately, their ventilation system had broken down leaving only limited airflow for air exchange - further compounded by emergency closure of all entrances and exits to escape their dire predicament.

As you progress through viewing (passage), you will interact with the heroes of the game, making decisions which affect them and determining their reactions towards you and to each other as a group. Your behavior determines their responses: whether that means building strong and friendly relationships to confront threats together, or quarreling amongst themselves to see how things pan out; either option could yield points which affect progress and ultimately, final scenes.
