Rising Front

Rising Front takes place during World War One and puts players into large-scale battles using authentic military arsenal, while simultaneously fulfilling missions from their command. Each fight feels real as opponents take cover behind trenches with moral systems of their own; firefights vary according to terrain such as lowlands, hills or cover affecting them as they clash against each other in large-scale encounters.

User will choose one of three factions - Britain, France or Germany. Each side offers its own arsenal, objectives and battlefield situations to the gamer; prior experience may help him adjust quickly if previously playing for another nation. With this simulator you will take part in extensive armed conflicts where many different equipment units and aircraft exist alongside one another.

Participants of battles often come up against artillery attacks, mortar shells, explosive traps and other obstacles during encounters. This will vary depending on the type of encounter; for instance if your main objective is protecting an area you might put up barriers yourself to block opponents out; otherwise you should look out for potential traps during attacks and disarm them or bypass them to make progress more straightforward; such weapons as Lee-Enfields, M1917s or Mauser 1897s would typically have been carried by soldiers at that time.
