Dead Age features an engaging nonlinear story, offering various choices which lead to 6 possible endings. Care must be taken when performing tasks; otherwise your squad of survivors may quickly dismantle.

Survival in this game lies at its heart; replenish food supplies, tools and recruit new survivors while collecting supplies such as food. However, don't think everything will go smoothly; in addition to collecting, the game features daily events which provide both challenges and opportunities as you make your way forward each day.

Combat in this game follows a typical formula: choose an action, wait until your turn arrives and select another option from a menu. However, by leveling up heroes through purchasing medals during prior playthroughs you will unlock new paths of development for them and can increase overall development potential significantly.

Another striking aspect of the game is its minimalistic approach - appearing almost like the main character is keeping a diary! This feature makes the experience particularly uncanny among horror games.
