REKKR: Sunken Land

REKKR: Sunken Land is an example of retro design games made according to tradition, where players travel back in time to 1995 in an alternate universe where he must explore an active map and shoot enemies. After returning home after fighting a war ravages his native village and finds it in ruin while his house has been overtaken by bloodthirsty monsters that kill all friends and family of its protagonist.

REKKR: Sunken Land's story unfolds through short cutscenes between levels. Your goal in these scenes should be to express unbridled anger and aggression as you exact vengeance on deceased residents and family. As your protagonist navigates his way through crowds of dangerous creatures and finds strange underground passages nearby the settlement, mysterious tunnels must also be explored - including dark corridors - until finally finding who or what controls this terrible uprising of evil spirits.

Immersing themselves into the depths of a cave system, players will:

• complete 32 main and 4 secret levels to advance the plotline and unravel events from within it 
• battle over 12 species brought out onto Earth through unknown means in fights which unfold throughout all 32 levels (i).
• Use seven types of weapons to fight aggressive creatures proliferating across 25 battle arenas in deadly and bloody battles
• explore an ancient civilisation with magical technologies for powering its defenses against these threats.
