update details
Men of War: Assault Squad 2, set during World War 2, will present us with many real events from different countries that participated. When compared with its predecessor Behind Enemy Lines: Assault 2, Men of War: Assault Squad 2 features improved graphics, shader support, an improved artificial intelligence that only leads opponents into battle under favorable conditions, five simultaneous country play, as well as playing all five operations such as Iskra", Kharkov", Seelow Heights", Husky", Overlord", etc for Great Britain, America USSR Germany and Japan respectively!
Men of War: Assault 2 follows much in the vein of its predecessor in terms of gameplay: we start out on a map where there are certain numbers of attack aircraft and armored vehicles available, along with reinforcement characters to add characters at reinforcement points. Earning points and receiving new units involves two methods of action. First is accumulation; by applying full tactical superiority over enemies you won't require backup; or taking over new points to advance through story campaigns as new units, characters, commanders, entire units or operations become visible at these new points - earning points is accomplished either through accumulation or taking control over new points while holding them during story campaigns which introduce new units or types of operations into play based on story campaign reveals new units, characters commanders etc that emerge at these new points.
Your actions in the game allow for various forms of sniper sabotage, landing paratrooper detachments and overrunning control points by storm - each mission may be completed using various means; any operations or events needing to take place strictly according to plot order are supported as well. There's even an online multiplayer mode; battles take place 1x1, 4x4 or 2x2 battles across maps available either from libraries or you create yourself using location editors.
