update details
Observer: System Redux is a first-person horror game set in 2084 and played as neurodetectives to probe into other people's minds and memories, in an atmosphere marred by war and serious illnesses. Your task in the game is to catch an unscrupulous killer responsible for several violent murders who has managed to remain hidden until now.
Nanophage, an epidemic afflicting enhanced organisms and killing thousands, led to long-standing battles between West and East before corporations took advantage of lawlessness to establish their own regulations - you are one of them as Daniel Lazarski (Rutger Hauer). Society fears and despises you both at once.
Penetrating into other people's dreams, thoughts and consciousness provides you with all kinds of insight into them - including their desires and fears that are often held close. By infiltrating their brain with invasion or using devices like Dream Eater to access consciousness you may gain more information than before about how people think and behave - however be careful not to become lost within palaces of mind as the deeper you dive, the harder it may become for you to maintain sanity!
Observer: System Redux was recently re-released with three brand-new quests: Intermittent Signal, Ee Terrible Symmetry and Apple from the Tree that significantly deepen and enhance its story. Furthermore, new gameplay mechanics include updated stealth tactics as well as an expanded neurointerrogation system along with many other improvements and updates to add depth and variety.
