FurBalls Racing

FurBalls Racing is an arcade racing game with platforming elements and 3D cartoon graphics, unlike most racing titles on the market today. Instead of controlling an actual vehicle like cars do, players control cute ball-like animals instead - such as cows, dogs or cats (there are sixteen to choose from, though some might not always be available at first). These animals roll. They can accelerate, break down, turn left and right, bounce off walls, jump over obstacles and accelerate by touching one of several accelerators along their tracks; all tracks here are circular. At times, this game's gameplay echoes high-speed racing sections from 3D Sonic video games, while in another way the project echoes elements from Monkey Ball series (the only difference being you need to control not just an animal but its environment as well). To win, riders must ride three laps and cross the finish line before their opponents. Along the way they must navigate obstacles while collecting bonuses that allow you to fire homing projectiles towards them.

FBR features four modes:

• Tutorial (training to become familiar with controls and local physics)
• through Grand Prix
• Time Trials to traditional time trials with timers that aim at setting records;
• Competitions against live opponents online (or via split screen on one computer).
