The Binding of Isaac: Repentance

Repentance builds off of its predecessor game while adding all new locations, characters, enemies, bosses and items based on biblical tale of Abraham and Isaac. Graphics were slightly revamped while changes have been made to both visual style and engine to make gameplay smoother and more enjoyable - now including four heroes named Azazel, Eden Lazarus Lost Ones: Azazel begins his quest with small sulfur gas; Eden can start the game by picking random characteristics; Lazarus has two lives while Lost One will only reveal itself if certain conditions have been fulfilled.

"Sacrifice of Isaac: Rebirth" provides

• 500 hours of gameplay
• 20 competitions
• 450 objects including 160 hidden ones
• more than 100 characters (with 25 enemies and 16 bosses added)
• several save slots are provided  
• over 50 competitions in which to compete against.

Lung Monstro, Drain, Black and Red Candles and many more artifacts were introduced as additional items in Binding of Isaac: Rebirth to add variety for two player cooperative play. Charakter characteristics remained similar but some needed significant balancing adjustments; Silence can only be reached after successfully taking down Mommy's Heart leader in less than 30 minutes; some mechanics had also changed due to using a new engine for development of Rebirth; many mechanics have either been cut entirely out or modified accordingly.

New improvements and mechanics of gameplay and interface mechanics :

• Saving is now possible;
• two difficulty levels have been introduced (normal and difficult);
• Mouse controls have been removed but gamepad support added;
• The health bar limits how many soul hearts you can collect at one time; you may use up to six satellites per player 
• for speed passage there is the Challenge Room!
• Once a certain threshold of faith is attained, accessing the Angel Room becomes available.
