Perseverance: Part 1

Perseverance: Part 1 is a short visual novel with one playthrough lasting around two hours. This project stands out from others of its genre with hand-drawn 2D graphics and atmosphere stylized like Western comics instead of anime, setting its scene in Gray Villa which sits near an abandoned military base where mysterious experiments are taking place, with its residents staying as far away from this place as they possibly can until one day an experiment goes haywire resulting in quarantining measures being placed across an entire zone including all populated areas by authorities.

Unwavering: Part 1 was the debut installment in an ongoing series and focused around Jack Cather and a woman named Elin who pursue him. After his father dies, our protagonist returns home after leaving college only to become embroiled in shocking events that threaten both him and his wife Natalie and daughter Hope's safety - then becomes an outlaw on his journey home, pursued by an unscrupulous female agent sent after him by his own government. Soon enough, she realizes she's following someone difficult and that her superiors deliberately kept quiet about many details. Thanks to its nonlinear plot structure, players themselves are free to determine how the character develops over the course of play; there are six endings and an achievement system provided as options.
