That Last Girl

That Last Girl is an indie survival horror game from a first-person perspective that uses camera wobbling when walking to simulate camera movement from left and right when traversing distances. When walking forwards the camera may wiggle slightly left or right as you run from and hide from an unseen ghost girl capable of instantly killing their protagonist with one blow. If he passes, you must start over from scratch in this level, since only one card remains. According to developers, AI plays a large part in shaping this cast's behavior. Monster girl does not patrol an area according to prewritten scripts and doesn't suddenly teleport closer. Instead, she honestly stalks her prey - this guy only has limited charge flashlight which he can turn on or off as needed and also walk, jump from low heights, interact with their environment as needed etc.

This Last Girl does not follow a conventional narrative structure, yet still features an ending. Before beginning, familiarizing yourself with passing tips and mission goals will prove valuable, while upon exiting the main menu immediately finding themselves at an unfamiliar location without an intro is startlingly abrupt - an adventurer begins their nightmarish adventures on an unfamiliar rooftop before transitioning back into reality by way of loading screens with text that appear when loss occurs; these reveal additional backstories such as how Barry went to an abandoned factory where an evil ghost called Nathan lives - providing details regarding Barry's quest!
