Victor must navigate desert lands in search of "The City of Dreams", according to rumors among other survivors; legend says this place was where humanity originated and now everyone works together to restore this planet which had long since lost its fertile grounds and is slowly dying away. Gamers will wander across space searching for unusual locations from young man's dreams.

Salvationland features an adventurer searching for accessible ways into the city using rail tracks leading to northern mountainous regions as a guide. As with other survival simulators, this game requires you to navigate hazardous territory alone while keeping alive. Collect useful items or food so as to avoid starvation; craft items and go fishing to catch fresh fish for sustenance; living within remaining reservoirs formed after global flood.
