Superliminal

Superliminal is a first-person puzzle game in which the protagonist falls asleep with their TV on, dreaming that they have briefly seen an advertisement from Dr. Glenn Pierce for an experimental dream program utilizing real dreams during sleep. At that moment, Superliminal begins!

All tasks in this game involve forced perspectives and optical illusions to give users the sensation of discovery and surprise. You must alter your thinking process, think outside the box, and alter perspectives until finally awakening from your dream state.

This world is one of the surrealest with an eccentric history full of strange happenings and plenty of paranormal incidents, while at the same time being beautiful areas to explore with tasks designed to test both your attention and perception of surroundings - many quests involve passing through many rooms with individual quests for completion.

To reach the exit, the player will have to interact with various objects within their surroundings - for instance, taking hold of a cube that grows or shrinks according to how far away your character is from it. As more difficult levels appear after initial tasks have been completed, new mechanics enter gameplay; such as illusions with sections of 2D art on ceiling, floor or walls. Solve unique puzzles as best you can and attempt to escape this dreamscape!
