The Faceless

The Faceless will appeal to fans of budget indie titles and trash projects alike. This video game blends third-person shooter with open world action game elements for an enjoyable gameplay experience. Players can move freely throughout various locations either by foot or transport, including cars driven by our protagonist. Car headlights can still be turned on, pushing and exploding is still possible while weapons, ammo, armor enhancements and other items must still be searched out on the street; ammunition lies as large 2D icons while barrels appear as 3D silhouette silhouettes depictions containing multiple barrels at once for easy identification of items hidden among barrels!

Faceless is a game in which there is no full-fledged story or cutscenes (you directly arrive on level after leaving menu) yet still an intriguing plotline: controlling an unknown fighter who finds themselves thrust into uncharted waters is paramount here. This warrior must clear one stage from all enemies. The map includes industrial facilities and abandoned homes (some buildings can be entered), plus other places of interest; enemies roam about freely while you must battle armed masked men for supremacy. As is common with joke games, the protagonist only shoots from their hip instead of using targeted fire from their shoulder to engage their enemies. At particularly exciting moments, when an adversary dies slo-mo style is shown with the camera switching angles to show this scene unfold in slow-mo mode - experience points are awarded for every enemy destroyed!
