OpenRA brings iconic strategy games to life in real time with HD support, an improved interface and new features. Among the innovations there is an online multiplayer mode, leveling up your own heroes, new units and buildings. Projects included here are: Dune 2000, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert.

A modern engine allows you to enjoy elaborate animations, explosion effects and other little things that greatly improve the passage. Leveling up central characters now takes place in a different way; a ton of skills and abilities have been added that affect single units or battalions. The fog of war has appeared on the map, due to which you must always explore the area in order to be aware of the enemy’s movements. Civilian structures are captured and give advantage to nearby infantry.

The replay and stream feature has been reintroduced so that users can rewatch their battles and matches. During battles, all players receive experience, through which they improve their skills and become stronger. The gameplay includes scenarios and story campaigns, single-player battles with bots and online matches with other gamers. In free encounters, the user can set any settings.
