Source of Madness is an action roguelike inspired by the stories of Lovecraft. In this dark adventure you will use dark magic against a huge number of monsters. The hero of Source of Madness is a newcomer from the Mage Tower. Humanity is on the verge of extinction and only he can prevent the apocalypse.
The events of the game take place in an alternative reality. The world in this universe has moved towards enlightenment. Control belongs to a cosmic entity, and people simply survive among monsters. You have to go through the difficult path of one of the novices of the Tower - the few surviving people hiding from hordes of monsters called Loams.
The journey will run from the depths of the Earth, passing through mysterious forests and monstrous citadels of R'leh. You will visit the Moon and go to the very ends of the world! Worlds are deformed and distorted in the space-time continuum. A unique universe was created using neural networks. Locations are generated randomly and all events will never be repeated.
