Unknown Pyramid is a hybrid of indie horror and simplistic roguelike. In addition to the concept, this project also differs from other horror films in its ancient Egyptian setting. The events shown in it take place inside the pyramid. Its corridors and rooms are randomly generated. The location of items also always changes with each new run. In the story, an unnamed historical object was found during archaeological excavations in an unnamed country. The protagonist entered it and got lost. The story is presented in text form. The hero's goal is to find a way out of the network of underground labyrinths. To do this you will need to open the exit door. To do this, you need to find and activate a certain number of levers.

The video game Unknown Pyramid is divided into levels. The stages contain enemies with different characteristics. Meetings with opponents should be avoided. Before you start, you can go through a short training and choose one of 3 difficulty types. Moreover, the most difficult of them is initially blocked. It opens when certain conditions are met. The hero's movements are controlled using the mouse and keyboard. In the game you can walk, squat, run, turn on a lighter and a flashlight (you need to regularly look for batteries for it), interact with the environment and collect treasures. In addition, it is possible to pick up, throw away, use items, and also switch between things in a small inventory.
