TEKKEN 7

TEKKEN 7 is a side-scrolling 3D fighting game that tells the true story of the Mishima clan's feud. In the storyline we learn why Heitachi killed his wife, for what reasons Kazuya Mishima survived. The basis of the game's action is a fighting game based on love, family relationships with friendly fights.

Each battle in Tekken 7 is a separate branch in the plot, so after the end of the battle (victory in it), we see a small interactive video of the creation of the entire universe, Kazuya growing up, and the formation of the Mishima clan. Also in this part the origin of the devil gene is revealed. The action of the game is reviewed by an unknown journalist who became interested in all the feuds between the clans and other TEKKEN fighters.

The fighting game has undergone major changes. In addition to the fact that the developers have installed the game on Unity Engine 4, we see a major upgrade in graphics and interactive films within the storyline. Thus, by watching full-fledged flashbacks, the plot and “hidden details” are fully told. 10 new characters were added to the game, some of which only existed in the past, like Heitachi's wife, Kazumi.

New game strikes such as :

• Rage Art - allows you to “destroy” 2/3 of the enemy’s health if your life level is at a critical level;
• Rage Drive is a blockable blow that deals 60-80% of total damage in proportion to the enemy's life. The character is painted in white tones, and the enemy can repulse this super blow;
• Power Crush - you can strike even if you are attacked at the same moment. You only ignore two types of hits: mid and high.

Of the available modes, we were left with arcade, duel and practice, where we train techniques. A VR mode has been added with the ability to slow down time and view the battle from any angle. "Treasure Fight" is an old battle format where successive fights lead to new rules and opponents. In multiplayer games, fights between friends and other players are available. Achievement for a game can be a rating that affects championships within the created server. There is also a “customization mode” in which we change the appearance of the heroes.

The developers were the first to try to make the story progression of a fighting game cooperative. Whatever side you play for, the outcome of the battle will be decided by the further passage of the plot. Even if you fight between Heitachi and Kazuya, the winner of the match will show you his history of how events unfolded. The key features that the studio hinted at in the description for TEKKEN 7 are a family story told not without tears.
