A SIMPLE REQUEST

A SIMPLE REQUEST takes players to the American state of Louisina. Events take place in a town called Morton. One day, people began to disappear and die in this place under strange circumstances. The police were unable to solve the case on their own. And so the cops turned to Detective Thompson for help, whom they will play as. This protagonist is an experienced investigator with a good reputation. When the hero arrives in a small town, he quickly realizes that this settlement has a mysterious and dark past. The bloodhound tries to get to the bottom of this, which leads him to a collision with real evil. He will have to confront not only sinister horrors, but also his own demons. This detective comments on his actions in text form.

Simple Request is a hybrid of first-person horror and walking simulator. Visually, the title is stylized as early 3D console games from 5th generation consoles. There are shaky and low-poly textures, low-resolution graphics and other recognizable elements. A filter is placed on top of the screen, simulating a VHS camera. For those who suffer from color blindness, the developers have added special graphic settings. The video game also allows players to customize the controls for themselves. They can control the movements of the main character using a gamepad or through a mouse and keyboard. The gameplay here is familiar to indie horror games. It consists of exploring locations with a flashlight in hand, interacting with the environment, and solving puzzles.
