Estranged: The Departure

Estranged: The Departure is a direct continuation of the story modification on Half-Life 2, made by just one person. The engine changed from Source to Unity, which greatly improved the graphics and visuals. The story continues the adventures of a fisherman who gets involved in various adventures. And the plot can be completed in just an hour, which makes the project a game for one evening.

This time, the plot of the video game is an accident during a strong storm, thanks to which the protagonist ends up on an unknown island. Due to his curiosity, the main character decides to explore the location and goes deep into the site. Where, in turn, he discovers the secret corporation Arque, engaged in strange and dangerous research.

In various places, every now and then you will find special audio recordings and computers, with the help of which you can learn more details about the game world and the scenario as a whole. You will also periodically have to solve small puzzles that do not require special skill. And the second act is diversified by the enemies that come across on the way to the goal, with whom you can fight through melee or ranged combat.
