House Sitter uses 3D graphics and a first-person perspective. There are two video games with the same name and camera angle. This is a horror game with dark locations, not a bright and cheerful adventure game with talking objects. The story here tells about the terrible adventures of a nanny in a private house. The story campaign is divided into 5 nights. The heroine needs to hold out until 6 am each time. In the story, a girl gets a part-time job. She looks after a small mansion and cleans it. Suddenly it turns out that the building is inhabited by an aggressive ghost. It also turns out that the landlord, Dave, who leaves regular messages, is acting suspiciously and is clearly hiding something.

In HS, the player can walk, interact with the environment (for example, open desk drawers), turn a flashlight on and off, read notes, pick up and use things.
