The game's combat system is based on fencing: parrying, riposting, lunging - all this allows you to achieve victory. You can also use the Panacea meter to use special skills and show off your style. But combat isn't just about swordsmanship, it's also about using cunning and the environment to your advantage. Enemies can be surprised, stunned, or evaded with the help of various objects: barrels, chandeliers, and even chickens. The game's story mode includes episodes that tell the story of Adalia, with unique challenges and secrets. You have to go through markets, dungeons and palaces, and face the tyranny of the cruel Count-Duke and his minions. Along the way, you will meet charismatic characters and exchange witty remarks with them. The game also features an arena mode where you can test your skills against waves of enemies with different modifiers and scenarios.
